In recent years, many weapon disciplines have had their own dedicated HEMA events, where practitioners could focus on that particular weapon with like-minded individuals from all over the world. Such events are a great way of sharing, comparing and acquiring knowledge and skills. They are also a lot of fun. To our knowledge, there has been no such event for the langes messer yet and this is something we have been lamenting for quite some time. An often quoted historical figure once said that one should “be the change you want to see in the world”. We at AMEK decided that it would only be fair if we took the responsibility ourselves of organising such an event. Thus the idea of the Winter Messer Meeting was born. Langes messer fencers from all countries are very welcome to attend in order to make this a memorable messer meeting!

The event cost is 70€ and includes lunch and cutting material.
